How We Score
Updated
By Picklynx Editorial Team
We score tools by category, because a great returns app and a great repricer solve different problems. Weights add to 100 in each category. We publish the weights so you can re-weight them for your store.

- Total cost at typical volume, including per return or per order fees: 25
- Store credit and exchange flow quality, judged from docs and public reviews: 20
- Integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, helpdesk, and shipping tools: 15
- Policy controls, reporting, and support terms: 10
Pick this if: return rate and AOV matter more to you than a long feature list.

- One accurate stock count across channels: 30
- Order routing, pick and pack, and warehouse flow: 25
- Total cost at typical volume, including order caps and extra users: 20
- Channel coverage (Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, wholesale): 15

Marketplace seller tools
- Core job quality (repricing, listing, or fee control): 30
- Guardrails that protect margin, such as min and max price: 25
- Total cost by SKU count and sales volume: 20
- Speed and marketplace coverage: 15
- Reporting on Buy Box share, sell-through, and fees: 10
Pick this if: you want margin protected first, and speed second.
Evidence we use
- Vendor documentation and help centres.
- Vendor pricing pages, checked and dated on each article.
- Changelogs, for what changed and when.
- Public reviews, for repeated pros and cons, not single rants.
- Published benchmarks, linked inline when we cite them.
Pick this if: you want each claim tied to a source you can open yourself.
Researched comparison, defined
A "Researched comparison" means we reviewed and compared public sources listed above. It does not mean we ran the products ourselves. We do not publish researched pages as if we ran the software in a live store. For that reason, we give no numeric product scores on researched pages. Order reflects our category weights and fit for the stated audience, not a lab result.
Pick this if: you prefer an honest researched shortlist over a fake test with a tidy score.
